How does the mission of King of Glory benefit?
Based on ministry requests, each year Church ministries will receive a distribution gift from the Foundation, which helps to sustain and enhance the many ministry programs of the Church. As the principal grows through your gifts, the greater the support for the work of the Church.
Gifts to the Foundation are not used to support daily church operations. They are used to expand King of Glory’s ministries. Recently, the Foundation has supported ministries such as:
- Seminary scholarships for local ministry students
- Seminary scholarships for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sierra Leone, Africa
- Support for the Umojo Mission which meets at King of Glory
- In the City For Good Food Pantry
- and more…
Grant applications must be completed using the Foundation Grant Application Form, and all requests will be reviewed through the Grants Committee.
