KOG 65th Anniversary

Foundation grants supported multiple events celebrating King of Glory's 65th anniversary, including packing 25,000 meals with Rise Against Hunger.

Pickleball at KOG

Equipment for pickleball was funded through a grant from the Foundation supporting fellowship and fitness with church members and the surrounding community.

Spring Valley Elementary

The students at Spring Valley Elementary are able to learn and enjoy in the school garden with upgrades and additions from a Foundation grant.

Mt Olive Lutheran Church Roof

Partnering with other churches and organizations in the Dallas area, a grant from the Foundation supported replacement of the deteriorated roof at Mt Olive Lutheran Church.

A Foundation grant provided several scholarships for campers to attend Camp Grady Spruce.

Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Prineville, Oregon is blessed with the ministry of Pastor Remy who the Foundation is proud to have supported in her seminary education.

Kuwala Christian Girls School

A greenhouse built with help from a Foundation grant teaches the students valuable skills and provides healthy food - see more in the video here.

Dobie Primary School Teacher Appreciation

King of Glory is grateful to be able to partner with Dobie in many programs and this grant with additional support from Thrivent provided thank you gifts for the teachers and staff.

Richardson Area Interfaith Habitat

A family has a home built by volunteers supported by a grant from the Foundation.

Zoom Licenses

To better support the current environment of being 'socially distant, but spiritually connected,' a grant from The Foundation expanded the ability for bible studies, small groups and committees to meet virtually.

ELCA Sierra Leone

The Foundation made its first grant in the spring of 2010, supporting a Community Development Fund for the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Sierra Leone (ELCSL).


A portion of the initial funding for the Impact Dallas community-wide day of service was provided by the Foundation.

Mt. Olive Food Pantry

The Mount Olive Food Pantry purchased refrigeration equipment with a grant from the Foundation enabling them to provide more fresh foods for their clients.


HEROES (Helping Everyone Reach Outstanding Educational Success) used a grant from the Foundation to help with their mission to create social, recreational and vocational programs designed to meet the unique needs of individuals with disabilities.

Stephen Ministry

A grant from the Foundation was used to train the team of Stephen Ministers in providing one-to-one, Christ centered care.

Attitudes and Attire

The Foundation is glad to support Attitudes and Attire in their mission to promoting personal growth for women seeking self-sufficiency.

Reformation 500 Festival

As part of the Debbie Jacob Life Enrichment series, the Foundation helped bring a replica Gutenberg printing press and other Biblical artifacts to the Reformation Festival celebrating 500 years since Martin Luther.
